On the Royal Pilgrimage: Garhwal Himalayas

A pilgrim, now passed the tree line and with no readily available accomodation, carries his own improvised tent poles so he can make a shelter when he reaches that days destination.

I can feel the wet mountain grass. Great photo, it captures the atmosphere and exspanse of the India Himalayan landscape. Spiritual pilgrimage is always a test and this one looks like a challenge of the elements. I love the yellows in this shot.
