Nihangs slaughter a goat in the traditional manner: Ghurak, Punjab

The Nihang's arrival in a village will be often celebrated by feasting on goat. The animals will be killed, carefully prepared and cooked by the Nihangs to provide for themselves as well as the entire village.  The Nihangs are principally vegetarians but will eat goat as they regard it as the food of the lion and a source of valuable nutrients.
