Dear Nick I first saw this man in one of your photographs when I visited your exhibition in London a few months ago and I have re-visited your website a number of times just to look at him. It is a mesmerising portrait - like a detail from a richly painted and lengthily observed Caravaggio. Even though his gaze is far away from the lens, and therefore not acknowledging the viewer, somehow you (as the viewer) still seek a connection with him - or is it some answers? Maybe in the hope that what he himself is seeking, or knowing, will be revealed to you. I find myself exploring a range of emotions, questions and possibilities while looking at this photograph. It is one of many from the exhibition that has stayed with me and it is great to be able to return to them online. With thanks for the experience. Best regards, Angad Kaur

Simply extraordinary. Beauty and grace, wisdom and longing as well as determination and fatigue are all captured in this artfully done photograph. Nick has a rare talent and keen eye for images.
