This Nihang Singh is a member of the Baba Bidi Chand Dal which is headquarted in Sur Singh near Tarn Taran, Punjab. This group of Nihangs takes its name from Bidi Chand who was one of Guru Hargobind's most loyal and faithful military comanders. The Dal today is led by Baba Dayea Singji and his son Baba Avtar Singh who is the 11th direct male heir of Bidi Chand.
