After visiting the "Unknown Monet" exhibition at the Royal Academy a
leaflet on your Living Divinely photographs caught my eye - so I came
directly.....to find a VERY interesting and beautiful array of photographs on
different aspects of Indian life.
Congratulations on the subject matter chosen, and the attention to
detail - VERY ENJOYABLE

The photographs appear to be a true reflection of the actuality -
like pointers to the experiences seen

Your work enabled me to feel the enjoyment you probably experienced
while at it. Your work somehow makes
me see lots of dimensions in space.
Distances between objects are measurable both in terms of geography
and impact. You then add a unique
sharpness to the image that kind of acts as a cling for the viewer. I hope I haven't analysed it too much, but
if you didn't know it, you have exceptional skill. Leave much more work in the world before
you go

A wonderful exhibition very thought provoking. Some very striking images

Enlightening. It's unusual to
see the faces of India and such warmth of colours. I can see the person in the sadhus. How great to capture such lifestyles so
very different from the West but still structures, observant and
timeless. It's eternity, unchanging
millions of people untouched or unmoved by rationality. In enjoyed your photos, reminds me just how
big the world is. Thanks

I'm astonished at the brilliance of these photographs - each
outstanding on its own, beautiful quality of colour, shape and form and
collectively an extremely interesting story which seems like the first
episode. Look forward to the book

It's quite inspiring to see attention in the arts filed towards
Nihang Singhs! You seem to have
travelled India quite well, and obviously have quite a passion for the Indian
sub-continent. But very impressed with
the Nihangs! Thank you!

Thank you for the wonderful experience o India you so kindly shared

It was a pleasure coming to see you and the exhibiton. Talking about the Nihangs and living the
warrior life style. It's beautiful to
see the vivid spiritual life of the people of India. Thank you for bringing it to London for all
to see.

Work of great integrity and honour that I am sure will touch everyone
who encounters it. It will travel far

Absolutely amazing. I truly
admire the way you have captured life in these photos. I commend you for your experience and what
it has extended to others

Thank you for an amazing insight into the lives of others not "bogged
down" by our materialistic western life!
You are truly inspiring in the pictures you take. May many blessings surround you on your
travels and in your vocation in bringing the west closer to the east. PS I really like the monk pictures

|
|
It's sheer magic - as if each of Nick's pictures is brushed in
silence.
|
B
|
|
In the hands of a lesser man and photographer these images would have
been voyeuristic. Far from it when
Nick is holding the camera. There is a
subtlety and honouring. We learn who
is the subject of each image clearly, gaining a direct experience without
Nick getting in the way. It is as if
we are the true witnesses of the moment directly with no interference.
|
J
|
|
The depth to these images is not just one of physical perspective; it
is on all levels
|
M
|
|
What's amazing about all this is that the images each appear so
simple and yet the longer I look at them the more there is to see. There is nothing superfluous; nothing omitted. Each picture contains the whole story, a
caption would detract from the image by pulling us into a mind space. It doesn't matter where or when these
photos were taken: they are beyond time and space.

The style is of Caravaggio, Turner, the Dutch Masters and the
Impressionists. These are masterful
images captured through the means of photography rather than paint. The artistry is extraordinary.
