The Shrine at Aishmuqam, Kashmir
I spent a few days here at Aishmuqam, a Sufi shrine overlooking the Kashmir valley. It is a wonderfully tranquil place, a revered pilgimage site for Muslims from Kashmir and beyond. Kashmir has suffered terrible conflict over recent years and this moment evokes the peace that so many people long for.
